Stop hitting the snooze button, dammit!

It’s official, I’m heading to the states from February 4th until March 4th! I’ll be working in Portland and I still have plenty of open times to schedule appointments, so please contact me if you’re interested or if you know somebody who is. I can use all the word of mouth I can get to make my dream of being able to work a few months a year in the states a reality. THANK YOU in advance for your support 🙂

I’ll be leaving behind a very tumultuous 2018, and while 2019 will begin with a bunch of much needed house cleaning (emotional and otherwise) I am ready for things to start happening and to point my energy in good directions. I did a lot of heavy lifting in 2018, so my resolution for 2019 is simple really. I am going to stop using my goddamned snooze button.  I mean this in quite the literal sense, but I’m hoping that it will spill over into the rest of my life. What does that extra 3 sets of 5 minutes of sleep really accomplish anyway? It’s simply another form of procrastination. I’m always running late, always wishing I could get more done. 15 minutes in the morning might not change my life, but it’s a start.

I’ve already stopped hitting the snooze button on my dreams, which is why I’m throwing caution to the wind and heading off to try to build up some business in my hometown, closer to my roots. I’m not going to worry so much about practicalities, I’m going to focus on forming the life I want to live. And that life is in The Netherlands AND in the states, as impractical as that might sound. I want to surround myself with positive people and love, try to become the lighter version of myself again.  I wish you all the very best 2019!
